Introducing: Our Custom Color Lipgloss Sampling Service
Have you always wanted to get a sample of a lipgloss color that you just LOVE?
Maybe you love the color, but you're not sure how it would look as a lippie.
Well, baby, you are in luck!
In an effort to streamline our custom lippie services, we are now offering a custom color lippie sampling service.
So how does it work?
We have been privately offering this service to existing clients as we gear up to open our own US lab. Now, we want to offer it to all customers - new and old.
All that you have to do is go to the custom lippie sample page and choose "Matte" or "Glossy" from the drop down menu, depending on whether you want your gloss to be matte or glossy! (duh!)
From there, add to cart.
Then, a pop-up window will come up, telling you to enter the 6 digit Hex Code of the color you want. It looks like this:
I put in the hex code #f4f5ee, a slightly yellow or greenish off-white - a cream, if you will. In Photoshop or AI, it looks like this:
But you don't need to be a Photoshop or Illustrator wizard to find a hex code! You can use the site Color-Hex to browse popular color options. You can even check your hex code (like I did), to make sure that it's consistent:
Okay yep, Spoiler Alert! It's the same.
That's because Hex codes are universal, so they don't change from application to application. This is exactly why we use them for color matching.
NOW that you've chosen a color, type in the 6 digits into the pop-up window and add to cart. Click the little shopping cart icon in the upper right corner to view your cart.
In your cart, you will have a last chance to make any changes. Click on "Edit Details" under the item name to double check the hex code(s):
If everything looks good, click save, then checkout. Fill in the necessary information to checkout and you'll be on your way!
A Few Notes:
- If you want multiple samples, you will need to add to cart separately, even if they are the same finish. For example, if you want 3 custom color samples - 2 mattes (and red and a blue) and 1 glossy finish (a yellow)- you'll need to add them one at a time. First the red matte, then the blue matte, then the yellow glossy finish. Then you can checkout. Please do not put multiple hex codes in one form.
- All custom color samples are first come, first serve. The processing time is typically 2-3 weeks, but may be longer depending on the current queue. If you have questions, please email us with your order number for queueing information.
- These lippies are made in the US. Shipment time is approximately 3-7 days.
For any other questions, please contact us directly. We hope you enjoy this new, streamlined service!
