CPC is the fastest and most cost effective way to get the formula you want - now with ownership conveyed after you manufacture a sum total of 20k+ pcs with us!
If you do not want to private label because you can never seem to find a formula that meets your vision, but the time and cost of custom formulation is too daunting, custom product creation could be a great option
for you. The fee is a nominal $2000 per product (flat fee) to formulate, and you’ll get up to 150% of that back as a manufacturing credit against your first 2 manufacturing runs.
And now, with ownership conveyed at 20k pcs, there’s very little drawback to giving this program a shot.
The best part? At the risk of repeating ourselves, the CPC fees might be refunded in full - or more, up to 150% - as credits against your manufacturing orders (more info below). So you could be getting a custom formula, that you own, for totally free.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE $2000 CPC FEE?
Ultimately, a Custom Formula! The CPC fee includes:
30 minute onboarding zoom call with your project manager + chemist;
subsequent email exchanges for project management
Additional 30 minute Zoom Call available as needed with your team
2 customized sample rounds to get your formula how you want it
Any needed stability testing needed due to changes (in-house)
Unique manufacturing rights to the formula at our facility
60kg MOQ on bulk or 250+ pcs on manufacturing (note: small order fee applies to any order under 2k pcs), plus:

50% Back as Manufacturing Credit for orders of 2k+ pcs
100% Back as Manufacturing Credit for orders of 5k+ pcs

Step 2: Onboarding

Have your expected MRSP ready for this call so that we can choose a formulation category for you (diffusion / mass market / luxury / super luxe)
Step 3: Sampling + Testing
[2-4 weeks]
1st sample will be sent 1-3 weeks after chemist call
We wait to receive feedback from you
2nd sample based on feedback sent 1-2 weeks later
Await your approval
Rapid stability testing will be performed (as needed)
Following your approval and completion of testing, the process of assembling and manufacturing your products will start. You will have exclusive rights to manufacture the exact formula created at Genie Supply. The assembly and manufacture process following Custom Product Creation can range from 2-4 months.

COSTS OF CPC + MANUFACTURING
When you're ready to get started, please confirm your benchmark formula and any changes or additions you'd like to make. We'll then send an invoice to begin the process.
TOTAL START-UP COSTS = A+B-C
A. $2000 for all formulation services (CPC Fee per formula)
B. Manufacturing cost for your run - depending on the formula, packaging, size and manufacturing run size, these costs will vary.
C. Manufacturing credits are issued for orders 2k+ pcs on your first and second order, so you might be lucky enough to get up to 150% of your CPC fees ($3k/formula) back as manufacturing credits.
The best way to pre-estimate your manufacturing costs is by finding a similar product in our pricing catalog and using those figures. Note the “pricing category” (1-4) in the upper right hand corner. During your project, your chemist will assign a pricing category and let you know if your choices will move you to a different pricing category. If so, find a similar product format with the same pricing category to re-estimate costs. When in doubt - ask your project manager!
