When beginning your own private label skincare line, ordering your product from a bulk skincare manufacturer can be a great way to get started. But you probably have a lot of questions, like:

In order to achieve the best comparison between bulk skincare manufacturers, I first narrowed my search to looking specifically for lotion in bulk. But it’s important to know that lotion is not the only skincare item you can buy in bulk. From foot balm to face cream, both the companies I cover here and our own company have a varied catalog.

My Method for Finding Bulk Skincare Manufacturers
How did I decide which bulk skincare manufacturers to include? One criteria was that they had to have somewhat similar products to offer, which meant skipping over the companies that only offered skincare “bases.” Using bases to make your own skincare products at home is possible, but that’s another blog for another time. For now, I just wanted to give you a sense of what kind of “private label ready” products are out there.
I also skipped over companies that would only allow me to see pricing if I created an account with them. Why? Because, if you’re like me, you probably don’t want to risk getting a lot of junk in your email inbox, and that tends to happen when you create an account anywhere online.
This left me with fewer options than I expected, but that just means I’ve saved you a lot of time scrolling and clicking yourself. Now you can sit back, relax, and review the 4 bulk skincare manufacturers that made the cut all in one place!
The Four Contenders in Bulk Skincare Manufacturing
Rainshadow Labs
The product: Hemp Lotion
Cost: 5 gallons for $228.09 (prices drop as quantity ordered increases)
The verdict: Although the price is somewhat lower than Genie Supply can offer, this lotion’s name can be deceiving. It does not use CBD as an ingredient — it only uses hemp seed oil. I’ll touch on that more a bit later.
For now, I will only say that this product and the next one listed (from Essential Wholesale & Labs) are the only ones that even come close to what Genie Supply has to offer. But if you’re wondering why their pricing is lower than ours, it all comes down to ingredients.
Essential Wholesale & Labs
The product: Hemp Lotion
Cost: 5 gallons for $196 (prices drop as quantity ordered increases)
The verdict: Very similar to Rainshadow Labs. This product ONLY contains hemp seed oil, not CBD. But it is still a better choice than our next two bulk skincare manufacturers.

The product: Jasmine & Clementine Hand & Body Lotion
Cost: 5 gallons for $157 (prices drop as quantity ordered increases)
The verdict: In stark comparison to the first two bulk skincare manufacturers (and, of course, Genie Supply), this lotion contains neither hemp seed oil nor CBD. Instead, it is a very basic product with a very basic price.
DeEnterprises, Inc.
The product: Green Tea Lotion
Cost: 1 gallon for $16 (slight price drop as quantity ordered increases)
The verdict: This is about as basic as you can get, both in price and in quality, and they are upfront about the fact that they mostly sell to salons (not to people wanting to start their own private label skincare line).
They do have the lowest price out of all 4 of the bulk skincare manufacturers I reviewed: you could order 4 gallons and you would still only pay $56. But, as was the case with BulkSkinCare.com, they do NOT include hemp seed oil or CBD, so you get what you pay for.

The verdict: First, be aware that 30kg is roughly equal to 7.8 gallons.
